My husband and I are one of thousands of commuting couples who have successfully managed work and family, despite having never lived full-time together in the same house, much less the same city, and often in different states. We are not alone. Although military families have lived the commuting life for generations, increasing numbers of families are choosing to become commuters and the commutes are not only along city or state lines, but in some cases across country borders. This website serves as an opportunity to connect the commuting community, share best practices, and learn how to successfully navigate a personal and professional life that involves long-distance commuting.
